Dubai – an exciting city with fascinating architecture, unique markets and malls, art galleries, international restaurants and gold! This amazing destination, one of the seven emirates, is located on the south east coast of the Persian Gulf.
Although oil, discovered in 1966, helped with the development
Kaş, a quaint little Turkish town laying on the Turquoise Coast in the province of Antalya, has much to offer considering it is relatively unspoilt. Tourists vacation at this small fishing town for a variety of reasons, including Diving, Yachting, Jazz Concerts, Art Festivals, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Hiking and good old fashioned relaxation. Oh yes, and of course the food!
Cobbled streets of Kaş are lined with Bars, Restaurants and Shops.
The stunning first impression of the Mediterranean Island of Santorini, Greece was the colour contrast of the white washed buildings with blue shutters, domes and accents on the backdrop of the blue sea and the blue sky!
The main source of income of the gorgeous Santorini is tourism; every summer, more than 300,000 tourists, mostly European, flock to the volcanic island to enjoy the pristine volcanic rock beaches, fabulous food and nightlife.
On the banks of Lake Okeechobee, Florida, USA, I had the pleasure of observing the Battle of Okeechobee Reenactment; fought by the Seminole Indians, the 1st, 4th and 6th Infantry Units and 132 Volunteers, also known as The Second Seminole War.
