One of seven Canary Islands belonging to Spain, located about 125 km off the coast of west Africa, the volcanic island Lanzarote is the most eastern of the seven. Often overlooked, Lanzarote has much to offer in the way of Beaches and Sports as well as it’s unique wine.
Some of the many sports which the island seems perfect for due to comfortable temperatures and little rain include cycling / mountain biking, hiking, golf, windsurfing, and scuba diving.

Tourists vacation at this small fishing town for a variety of reasons, including Diving, Yachting, Jazz Concerts, Art Festivals, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Hiking and good old fashioned relaxation. Oh yes, and of course the food!
